SOLD.
Well, I am finally forcing myself to part with my DVX100a (PAL version).
Comes with:
Original accessories including both XLR caps BUT missing the shotgun mic mount
Only 64 hrs on the heads
10 Panasonic AY-DVM63MQ tapes
Barry Green's book 'HOW TO GET THE MOST FROM THE REVOLUTIONARY DVX100 AND DVX100A CAMERAS'
and 'The DVX DVD'
When I first bought the camera I had an incident with a freak wave, which required me to pay nearly $2500 to have the camera repaired and various parts replaced. Since then it has been treated like a baby wrapped up in cotton wool and over 3 years later is in great condition with one exception: the ND filter switch is missing the black plastic on the bottom of the switch. You can only notice it when you turn on the ND filters (see photos).
Only ever used Panasonic AY-DVM63MQ tapes, never used it as a deck.
I'm selling it to fund the purchase of an HPX170. I probably should have sold it last year when I bought my HVX200, but I wasn't able to bring myself to part with it. Anyway, I really can't justify having 3 cameras, so here she is looking for a good home.
Price: $1350 USD, not including shipping and paypal fees.
