Also posted this on the FCP board, but not much response. I'm capturing fine via the DVX for everything I shot on the DVX. As soon as I start with one of the tapes shot on the rented XL-1, the capture process aborts. Several ppl have suggested bad tapes, but this happens on every tape shot on the XL-1 (more than 10) and as these tapes were pulled from the same boxes as the ones shot on the DVX, I don't think it's a matter of bad tape. Any other notions as to what kind of compatibility issue might be going on here? Any help is greatly appreciated.
