DVX100a defualt settings

I have a panasonic dvx100a and was wondering if the defualt settings were good to use.

Their is also a test clip, i wanted to know if its underexposed or not?

in the video i had the nd filter set to 1\8 on the side of the camera because the sky looked very bright

I used F6(I initailezed the settings in the menu) the settings are below

detial level, v detail level, detial coring, chroma level, chroma phase and color temp all at 0

Master ped: -5

a iris level: -3

gamma: cine-like_d

knee: auto

matrix: cine-like

skin tone dtl: off

v detail freq: thin

progressive: 24p(adv)

I went to dvfilms website and it said set the a iris level to -1 and detial level to -3, and master ped to -6 should I or should I just use defualt.

i went into my adobe after effects color finesse and used the eyedropper and hovered over something black in the shot, and noticed the numbers were not at "0" so i went and clicked "shadows" checkbox and pedestal and brought it down until it said "0" on all 3 RGB things.

what settings should I be using.

Hi, you should look at this right here. We have been exchanging series of scene files for different in-cam effect. Some of them comes with a screen capture. Also, if you can put your video on youtube or something like that for streaming. That would help.

It looks like the exposure is pretty good to me. Maybe a little lacking in the contrast department (which is easily adjusted in editing). I like to put my Master Ped at -8. I find that I have to do fewer contrast adjustments with that setting.
