DVX100A & capturing in Final Cut Pro 4

Ok, so here a super novice quesion. I'm trying to capture video that I've taped already into the camera. Now, when I try to capture the video in FCP I get a warning message that states there is no camera connected. I'm using the firewire output in the camera. I've tried every setup there is in both the camera and in FCP. Can someone please help?:violent5:

In my experience, if you turn the camera on after you have FCP open, sometimes it won't recognize the camera. So, just make sure you have the camera on and plugged in before you open FCP. Good luck!
