alright i posted this on skateperception but no responces there and you guys will probally be able to help more
alright i think this is the second time ive posted this problem. but anyway this is the second time ive had this problem and i cant figure it out. the first time was with vx1's and now it has reocurred with my dvx. so, the problem is that whenever i impoort (with sony vegas) it takes all the clips ive captured and turns them into one long clip. i looked up the problem and it had something to do with the "dv scene detection." i checked theat problem and it didnt work. so im pretty sure its not the software so it must be the timecode. the thing i dont get is that when i captured clips with my other dvx, it didnt do this, it seperated them like it should. it also didnt do this with my dvc30, that i had just capped clips from 15 mins before my dvx.
i feel like that^ may be hard to understand so heres what i did.
took tape out of dvc30
put it in my capcam
started to capture like normal stopping here and there
ended capturing and had multiple clips
took tape out of capcam
then
took tape out of dvx
put it in capcam
started to capture
capped 3 clips
i noticed that it said it had only capped 1 clip
checked the clip and the 3 separate clips had turned into 1 clip
got pissed
looked up the problem
tried some other s**t
said poo poo it and just let it cap
still only 1 clip
take tape out of capcam
put it back in dvx
write this thread
if i can help by clarifying some things let me know. im really trying to get this fixed asap
Thanks!
