Been a longtime reader, but this is only my 3rd post...I know I don't have presence on the board, but I have been a member for awhile. Also, I am willing to provide any sort of ID you may require to feel that I am 100% legit.
Anyways....
I have a DVX100A, a Brevis35 adapter, Canon FD lenses, tripod, monitor and many extras for SALE!
All prices are NEGOTIABLE- feel free to PM or email me (blehrer@usc.edu). If you want multiple items, I will definitely offer a package deal.
I am a RELIABLE young film student about to graduate from USC. Motivated to sell!
Plan to use paypal and fedex for a safe transaction. I also live in the LA area, if you prefer to deal in person.
Photos of any item available on request. Just ask.
ALL ITEMS BELOW:
1x Panasonic DVX100A Kit
EXCELLENT CONDITION. Only 134 Hours of use. Nearly like NEW, just one virtually invisible mark (about 2mm long) on the body finish. Never rented out, babied by a film student. Not HD, but as we all know, shoots lovely film-like SD video.
Includes all original materials:
-manual
-AC adapter/battery charger
-remote
-microphone holder
-1600mAh battery
I will also include:
-UV/Haze Filter for Camera Lens
-Hoodman H400 Hood for DVX LCD
-Lenmar DV Winder (superfast rewinding of DV tapes, saves the heads on the camera, too)
-1x Unopened Blank Panasonic Master Quality Professional MiniDV tape. 83ME.
-Petrol Case for the DVX and accessories(this does have my name written on it, but I am including it for free and you can also tape over it.)
-Barry Green DVX DVD and DVX Handbook
Price: $900
DVX ACCESSORIES
-For an extra $80, I will throw in 3 extra batteries: 2x large 5400mAh batteries, 1x medium 3000mAh battery.
If you want the batteries separate from the camera, $120 for the set of 3. I believe these all work on the HVX as well.
-I also have the 16:9 Viewfinder Adapter from Century Optics. This attaches to the DVX viewfinder and allows you to view squeezed 16:9 footage properly. Retailed for around $400 or so, I will sell for $200 separately, $150 with the camera. Like NEW.
Package Price for DVX Kit, Batteries and Viewfinder Adapter: $1100
BREVIS + ACCESSORIES
1x Cinevate Brevis 35mm Adapter (I believe it is version REV2).
Very good condition. Only minor signs of wear on the lens mounting.
Gives great beautiful flim-like quality and narrow depth-of-field characteristics! Allows you to use just about any lens, with the right mount. Mine includes a Canon FD mount. Other mounts (Nikon, PL, Minolta, etc.) can be purchased from Cinevate.
This adapter loses only 1/2 a stop in light (one of the fastest adapters around), and is VERY light (made from carbon fiber). I often used it without support as long as the lenses were small, and I had no problems. For this reason, I preferred to work without the flip module and view the image in a monitor with the image flipped.
It is upgradable to the new versions (MP1 or MP2) from what I understand, but it works just great as in. Does not include the flip module, but that can be purchased separately.
Includes, AC adapter/charger, 72mm achromat for DVX mounting, and a small pelican case.
Price: $550. $500 if purchased with DVX.
I also have an extra Cinefuse 2 imaging element for better bokeh in the F1.4-4 range. Like NEW. NEVER USED. You can replace the ground glass in the Brevis with this for the aforementioned effects. Price: $60. (It retails for $185).
I also have a rails and mounting system for the Brevis and DVX from Cinevate. It consists of 2 aluminum rods, an adjustable baseplate that attaches the DVX to the rods, and an element that supports the weight of the brevis and attaches it to the rods, also adjustable. I also include an extra block with screws that slides on the rails. These sort of elements from Cinevate retail today for over $500, I will sell them for $60 with the Brevis. It is all very solid, and in great condition.
Price for Cinevate Package with Cinefuse 2 Element and Rails/Mount System: $625
Price for Cinevate Package with Cinefuse 2 Element and Rails/Mount System if bought with DVX: $600
LENSES
I have 4 Canon FD lenses and an extra front lens cap in case you lose one. All lenses are in excellent condition and include front and rear caps. They have very smooth mechanisms, and have a decent length of focus rotation on most of the lenses. Completely manual iris, focus and zoom (if applicable). These are also 100% usable on Panasonic DSLRs and the new AF100 camera. Gentle, reasonably sharp, and pretty image. A film I shot on a Sony EX3 used these lenses (plus some Nikons), and it made it into a few festivals (San Diego and Rhode Island), so these lenses are definitely of good (enough) quality considering how cheap they are.
1x Canon FD 28mm F2.0: $50
1x Canon FD 50mm F1.4: $80
1x Canon FD 100mm F2.8: $80
1x Canon FD 70-200mm F4.5-5.6 w/ Macro Focus Ring: $50
The whole set can be purchased for: $200 ($60 discount).
-I also have a set of filters for the Canon lenses: UV, ND.3, ND.6, ND.9 with little cases. I will include them FREE if all lenses are purchased. Otherwise the set is $50.
MONITOR
I also have a full Varizoom monitor kit for sale (VZ-TFT7U). Offers 16:9/4:3 and flips image if wished (useful for shooting with an Brevis without a flip module as above.) Excellent condition, almost like new.
Includes:
Monitor, Charger, Sunshade Hood, Shoe Mount, Case, and 3 EXTRA BATTERIES I bought separately.
Sale price: $260 (Retails $439 from B&H today, not including the spare batteries I will include.)
Misc. Computer Items for Sale
-Lacie Firewire 800/600 PC Card: A full size PCI Card for a laptop (not the thinner Expresscard type on Macbook Pros, that's why I no longer have use of it) with two Firewire 800 and 1 Firewire 600 plug. Perfect condition. Price: $20.
-Creative Labs Soundblaster X-Fi Extreme Notebook Sound Card
Has input for microphone and output for headphones. Includes a dual plug set of earbuds with a microphone. Full size PCI Card (not the thinner Expresscard type on Macbook Pros, that's why I no longer have use of it) Perfect condition. Price: $20
