DVX100A Broken Viewer

Hi All:

Was shooting a wedding last night and my tripod (Manfrotto 3283B sticks) collapsed sending my DVX100A crashing to the floor, disloging the battery, lights, and wireless system microphone.

The result was that it broke my battery and smashed my side viewer. I was able to continue shooting for the rest of the night using the eyepiece, but the LCD is toast.

I have two options. Either sending it to Digitron in LA (which I've used before and like them very much) or sending it directly to the Panasonic repair center in California.

My question is this. Which one would be best for me to do under the current situation? I of course need it back ASAP and cost wise, would I be better off to use Panasonic or Digitron?

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

I think the rest of the camera is fine. I shot an additional two hours after the incident, and the footage was perfect.

Thanks in advance,

eric
