dvx100a broken mic

[diuhhbolical]

i was wondering how much it may cost to fix/repair a broken mic on the 100a. i know a guy selling this cam with the broken mic and was curious what a good price would be to offer him and if anyone knows how much it may cost to fix?

any help is much appreciated. thanks

Im not sure how much it would cost to fix one, but why not just get a cheap shotgun mic? With xlr cable etc... there $50-$100 and I assume you will end up paying the same if not more just to fix the normal mic and its a small upgrade just a thought...
