DVX100A Auto White Balance

I was wondering, when you press the Auto button on the camera to do the white balance, sometimes it makes a better white balance than when I use a sheet of paper. Is that just me? Also when you press Auto white balance, does that always constantly change the white balance to try to compensate or does it auto do it once and stop? Thanks!

Not sure why your ATW (auto tracking white) looks better than manual white balance. Did you try any of the preset white balances to compare also (3200k & 5600k)?

The ATW constantly adjusts the white balance according to the current lighting.
