I'm selling my DVX100A as I am always using the EX1's from my work and find myself not using the DVX enough to keep it around. The camera is in good shape, has 117 hours on it, and is overall very clean, everything works great and the camera looks nice. The camera does have an exception though. I mainly shoot action footage of ATV's and snowmobile's for work and a few months ago was using my DVX to shoot some personal footage, well filming the rider clipped one of the tripod legs with the wheel of his atv as he was passing by. I had my hand on the camera zooming so the tripod pulled out the mount on the bottom of the camera and went the opposite way. The camera was fine as I had a hold of it the whole time but the tripod mount and some of the bottom mount area around it got pulled out. I show this in the pictures. I was going to keep the camera and either send it to panasonic to get fixed, or I was going to take of the plastic cover on the bottom of the camera make one out of aluminum with a new tripod mount welded on. Well needless to say, the camera has sat ever since becuase I have been shooting alot with the EX1's, so I figured I will just put it up for sale. The camera works great, just as it should, it just needs to be fixed somehow. I have not contact Panasonic to look into how much it would cost, but would suggest trying to rig up something similar to this (http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?t=71306) plate instead as it would be alot cheaper. This is a good opportunity to get your hands on a DVX100 for really cheap. Comes with two large batteries and a Lowerpro bag.
