DVX100 vs. DVX100a

I am thinking about getting a DVX100 off ebay. I have seen DVX100a's for a couple hundred more, but I wanna keep this as cheap as possible. I was just wondering what the difference was between the two, and what improvements were made in the DVX100a. Is the original a good camera? Or should i spend the extra few hundred for the A.
