Lucky Duck
Hello again everyone,
Here’s another big widescreen small film production :lipsrseal Actually, Linda (my sweetie) and I just bought a tent and we went to a local camp ground to try it out for the weekend. It was totally spontaneous and I have some cute footage of us dismantling the tent which I will eventually edit and put with this piece on the DVD when it’s available.
In the meantime, this is an area called Snoqualmie and for you David Lynch fans, it’s where Twin Peaks was shot. If you are familiar with the opening sequence of Twin Peaks, you will remember the waterfall…that’s Snoqualmie Falls and is the opening shot of this piece. There was also a Thomas the Train Engine celebration that weekend so the cartoon looking train is Thomas
I’m still working on this and may lose the train scenes completely. Linda seems to think they don’t really fit into the rest of the footage….
The usual disclaimers:
This is a rough cut
The compression in the water scenes is pretty bad (sorry about that, I will be putting up a better quality file when I tweak the edits).
There maybe some slight distortion on the audio track, I’m still working on the mix.
That’s it, enjoy it.
