DVX100 service in NYC area?

Hey, I bought my DVX100 used with low hours a while ago. Right now it only has about 140 hours on the heads, but don't know if it's ever been serviced (doubt it). I have a shoot coming up and want it to be in good condition.

Anyone know a trusted camera shop in the NYC area I can ship it to for a cleaning? I don't trust myself to clean the heads safely and I'm worried about the video heads messing up while filming. Also, how bad will this hurt my wallet? At 140 hours, am I risking the heads getting messed up? It hasn't skipped or anything so far and I only use type of tape but have no clue what tapes were used with the prior owner. It's the original DVX but it's still in great shape cosmetically and practically.

(I should note that a decent amount of those hours were use capturing to a laptop rather than tape, so it's probably much less than 140 on the heads, but still).

Anyone? I've read tons in the L.A. area, but I can't find any references on the board for the Northeast. I really like my DVX and want it to last!

or Armato's Pro Video in Queens. I go there all the time for my tapes and have gotten my camera serviced there. They were able to turn it around in less than 24 hours, and I continued on shooting.

I had a calibration question about my two DVX100's

I called Nivie Electronics, (Authorized Panasonic Service in Brooklyn), and they said come on up for a quick diagnoses. I was there in 2 1/2 hours and in and out - no time flat.

The folks are all of foreign decent, but were all very helpful! :Drogar-Mark-01(DBG)
