DVX100 Raw Footage Request

Hi all,

I've been lurking here for the past week or so. I own and operate a small web design company and have done some video editing work for company product dvd's. I'm trying to get into more video work as it all ties into the web work.

I was looking hard at the JVC HDU100 for the film look, but then I stumbled upon here and saw how awesome the DVX is.

I've looked at every page of video clips from the DVX on here and was wondering if someone could post a 15 or so second clip of raw footage at various fps. I want to know if the camera really puts out that good looking film look on it's own, or does it require a lot of post work to get it.

From what I've seen, this camera is something I would really like to save up for as it's a lot less than the JVC.

I think you'll find if you do a search in the clips section there are already hundreds of raw clips to take a look at.

I would also recommend you take a look at Barry Green's Book and DVD (http://www.dvxuser.com/articles/dvxbook/) as it has some fantastic examples of effects you can achieve in camera (without any post work).

raw footage from any camera usually looks bad. It's the post work that spices things up. As Chris said, take a look in the clip section and you'll find good footage without anything heavy effect wise.
