i hope someone can help me on this ..... i m a new user
i m capturing and editing with final cut. My preset is dv pal 5/4. but my footage looks narrow when opened with quicktime or real player. when i import this footage in after effects the pixel ratio is 1.09 and the footage is wider. but then again when i render it in AE and reopen it with quicktime it s narrow.
i ve tried to use the 4/3 pal preset in final cut, the window is wider but not the footage (2 blacks bars on the sides).
i don t understand because when i see grabs here they look good (wider than mine) ....
do i have to capture and edit in dv pal 5/4 and the magical aspect transformation will appear when exporting in a specific format?
