DVX100 Luma Range ???

Hello,

Could anyone tell me if DVX100 records in YUV 16-235 luma range or like RGB 0-255 ?
I recorded a video using cineline_V, some scenes have luma over 100 IRE, in my NLE (quattrus/velocity) I captured and edited ok, but when I have to compose something or export a single frame the luma is compressed and some images area turn gray.
I guess it is the YUV -> RGB conversion.

How do you handle that ?
Do you always record your image under 100 IRE ?

I'm not sure how to avoid the issue but DV is natively YCrCb if I remember correctly.... need to double check that.
 
I see in waveform DVX values nicely between 100 and 105 IRE, but in my editing system when I'll work with image (it converts to RGB) theses values above 100 IRE are clipped.
