DVX100 in Call of Duty 4

[MalcolmOng]

So i was playing Call of Duty 4, and one of the missions involves storming a middle eastern TV station, and whaddaya know - I see a DVX sitting on the tripod! I forgot to take a screenshot though, but anyone who's played the game, you would notice the camera!

[ugafan]

haha. i went to school with the multiplayer lead designer, so that's a pretty funny coincidence.

If you look at the cameras in the training room, they are all HVX's. You can see the DVCPro HD and P2 on the side...

[JConnors]

Thats hilarious, I haven't noticed them yet.

I played that game non stop last weekend, 4 player multiplayer rocks.

HVX200... or Petertech HD?

Why is it set up for Dutch Tilts?

That doesnt look like NTSC Standard

That part of the world is all PAL and SECAM .. No NTSC over there.

Those aren't PAL (EBU) bars either...

DVCAM?

Naah, that's a DVW-500 DigiBETA deck with the controls moved around a little...

Thats awesome that they used kramers stuff, And no, its for the PC and xbox360 only, I highly reccomend it and its one of the funnest games i have ever played.

[Krunko]

HAHAHAHA. Man I cracked up when someone showed me this thread.

I'm an animator over at Infinity Ward and I was also put in charge of buying our camera equipment. I had no idea people would take the time to look at it, notice it looks like an HVX, and then post it online on a forum that I regularly read.

Small world.

Glad you guys like the game.
