dvx100 help first film

Hi my name is johnny and i will be shooting my first short film this week now i am planing to shot it on dvx 1000a can this cam shoot in black and white or do i have to do it in pos production with software. Should i shoot in 24 p advance or 24p Standard, i am using avid dv 3.5 can some body explain to me this thing called Advanced pulldown can i do this pulldown in avid dv 3.5?

is there a step by step tutorial on pulldown, how it is done?

PS is it possible to do a slow motion with this cam

Suggest you shoot with 24p (F5 setting) sicne thsi is your first film project. That way you can edit with anything.

Black and HWwite needs to be done in post. Most editing software can do this (Set saturation to lowest setting)
