Co author of the book, "Final Cut Pro 4 - On the Spot" which lists over 350 FCP tips and tricks, Abba Shapiro will show them all to us. OK, maybe not all but a bunch of good ones we are betting a bunch of good ones you've never seen.

Final Cut Pro is the ideal environment to edit footage shot in 24p video. But like many elegant solutions there are pitfalls and opportunities.
Although there are presets in both Final Cut Pro and in many cameras, it's important to know which combination of settings will give the producer the best image and the most flexibility. This session will trace the production process from shooting, to image capture, to output in a wide variety of formats.
Erik Bryan Slavin's work has been seen at two Siggraphs, on television commercials for Apple computer and in the feature film "Mission: Impossible" A pioneer in interactive media, he was recognized as one of the "Top 100" in Multimedia Producer Magazine's inagural list of producers.
Erik teaches at New York University, Marymount Manhattan College and has taught and been a Directing Fellow at the American Film Institute. He is the Associate Artistic Director of RIPFest, the Raw Impressions Film Festival. (www.Rawimpressions.org)
