DVX100 and VX2100

I am really new to DVX100
we have been using sony for such a long time
but now we wish to try panasonic
because the Sony SD is face out now
and DVX100B have a good remark

My question is I got my DVX100 B

all the button for me is still Ok
WB , Iris , ND , Gain ... this is still ok
because we use VX and trv THAT is simple

but when it come to DVX100B
there is a scene control
do I adjust it during the shooting
or when I go for indoor I adjust and go to jungle another Setting
is it so ......what is most important in scene

that day we happen to try a EFP with
our DVX100 A and B
lEft and right Cam .. but we found out that
one of the cam is dark when iris turn up it is too bright

that day but the B is OK... I am just wondering after WB
what should I adjust .. is there any all auto function when emegency

But the VX2100 just make it to auto and everything is OK

But I know this is Pro ... so I should listen to the pro

PLease voice up I am ready to learn !

If i understand correctly u are asking if u should adjust scene files or just do in in editing?

if so, then the answer is...do what suits you. Some people adjust the scene files to get the look they want in camera. Some people shoot "flat", meaning they use default settings so they can have the most flexiblity in editing to get the look they want. Som people start the look in the camera and in editing refine it. So it really depends what u want and how u find working with the different workflows as they may be.

There is an auto button that says auto on the camera. When u press this the camera will go into automatic mode. You can go into the settings somewhere (not sure right now) and adjust what features will be automatically controlled when one presses the auto button. So for example you only want autofocusing but not autoiris u can set that in the settings (as i say i cant remember where) and when u press the auto button only the features u set to be on will be automatically controlled.
