Hello,
I have the DVX100B and am recording in 24p Advanced mode on the camera.
I am getting really lovely shots.
I am now starting to edit, using Adobe After Effects CS5 and am a newbie to it. I had a few questions:
According to After effects The video has specs of:
720x480 (0.91) separating (lower)
23.976 fps 3:2 removal (WWWSW) - 24p Advance
What is the best timeline/composition to edit in?
I am currently using a DV Timeline 720 x 480 - 3:2
The 24P advanced video is at 0.91 but it seems like I have to use a square pixel aspect ration on the timeline for the video to look right. Is this correct?
Also, should I have the timeline at 23.976 or 29.97?
Pros and cons of either?
The output video seems to have interlace lines as well.
I tried a lot of different settings, read the dvx100 book by barry, and also read my manual for after effects, but still am a bit lost.
Please advise.
Thank You DVXuser community. You rock!
