I'm a crazy DVX fan, crazier than say... the Mad Hatter of DVX users. However, there is a chance I may use an XL2, because of certain circumstances.
Now the Canon and DVX use the same 24p cadence/pulldown correct? If this is so, can anyone attribute the changes in look, when it comes strictly to motion, apart from the use of shutter speeds?
To me, when viewing XL2's footage and DVX's footage, both at 24p at the same shutter, the XL2 seem more like 60i. Am I retarded, or has anyone else noticed this, and if you haev noticed this, what is the reason? I am not lookinng for answer like: "well, it's the shutter, or the light", etc. I would like pure an electronic/engineering answer, if possible, about how the camera's both create their 24p images?
Also, for those of you who checked out my last post "DVX Shoots National Award Winner", which is now on page two or three of this forum, has BTS photos finally posted, for those of you who asked.
Thanks guy.
