Compared to my old VX1000, the viewfinder image is half the size and quite distorted.
Is that normal ?
I got my DVX a week ago (internet order). I didn't test it before.

Yorugua, as far as distorted goes, no it should be a sharp image (I assume you've adjusted the diopter).

AFA half the size of the VX1000, can't help you with that one I'm afraid.

Pookie, the image is perfectly sharp but not rectangular. The corners are not right-angled.
Internal lens can be adjusted ?

Another question:
White balance adjust, with a white object, OK.
But black balance : held down the same button with what ? the same white object ? a black one ? Grandma's black cat ?
