DVX to iMac Help

[troublein need od DVX hel]

Hi,...I recently Bought a DVX 100, and an iMac, for some reason they won't talk to each each other...I've spent hours at the mac store and they could not figure this out...

I know my Fire wire Ports are working...on both my computer and camera, cause the camera works with other computers and other cameras work with my Computer...

If anyone has had any similar problems please help me out.

I've had this same shitty problem. What I did is open imovie and just jiggle the firewire. Move it in and out and after a bit the blue import window should show up and say camera connected. Hopefully this helps.

You should open imovie first, then hook up the firewire. Works for me.
