Hey everyone,
After reading here & on 2-pop about the DVX (and all DV cameras) outputting 0 IRE on the S Video out, I bought a Canopus DAV100 adapter to "FIX" my analog out to my monitor. After being on Tech. Hold for 52 min. I was told by the fellow that if I go DV out of the DVX to DV in on the Canopus, set the switch to 7.5 on the bottom and use the S Vid out to a monitor I will be doing to correctly. Wow ! What a difference that makes. Not a little, but Big !! So is this something we all need to do ? Even Non-DVX users ? I am amazed. I use a lot of filters & it affects the look of everything. Hmmm ...
