dvx time lapse test

in my opinion those clouds should have been wizzing by at the 2000% you sped them up to. I shot about 10 minutes of clouds a few months ago and did the same thing sped them up to 2000% in FCP HD and they were wizzing right across the screen pretty fast.
 
there was hardly any wind that day. and the clouds were barely moving.

nice to see this thread still getting attention after all this time.

i have since done another. forgiveness for the crap youtube compression, but it's all i got at the moment.

this was 15 minutes sped up 15,000% in final cut pro 5
 
intreval mode works well. you can set the dvx to take a half second recording every 15 seconds. it looks choppy at play back but if you speed it up to the correct amount in post then it will look smooth. less time on tape toooooooo
