DVX Still Images Using The P&S Mini 35mm

Thought I'd post a link to some still's to show you the DVX and P&S adaptor. The depth of field is spectacular but you definitely need a focus puller.

Very nice.. A real smooth appeal to it.. I mean, even remove the shallow DOF and you still have a great image.

Unfortunately is was a corporate shoot for one of the biggest banks in the world so I can't post any clips because of client confidetiality, I'm probably breaking the law posting stills, but who cares....so sue me.

But I am planning on using it on an up-coming personal project. So watch this space.

The lenses make all the diffrence I think. The VP's are really nice, there's a real softness (probably the wrong word to use when describing quality lenses) that you get. I tried a couple of my Nikon lenses as well but the Arri Zeiss Zooms were just so much better.

Still waiting on Movie Tube to get there finger out there asses and actually ship over a demo model before I commit to buy. I ain't holding my breath though.
