DVX Standby Mode

I guess I am just slow but I can't figure this one out. When the DVX is on but is not recording, after a few minutes it goes to sleep, or standby. Is there a way to wake it up without turning the camera off then on again?

Does it power down, or just enter standby mode? If it's actually in standby mode, you just have to hit the record button and she'll spring back to life. If you're not setup to go to standby mode, go to
"7. Other Functions > Tape protect > Stdby
