DVX Skate footage

Wow, some of those spots are really unique, where are you guys from?
Also, what frame rate did you film that in ?
Thanks.

Kickass footage! with sk8 footage, something just seems to be missing without a fisheye lens though :P

tomsk815: Myself and all of the guys in the clip are from Miwaukee, WI and thekyleman71 answered your question.

troypod: I know what you are saying, but as someone who has watched a lot of skate videos I have to say that's enough with the fisheye already. Sometimes it is necessary, but 80% of the shots that use a fisheye could be made a lot better by being more creative and not using it.

And everyone is entitled to their opinion as far as the music goes.

Man dope job that was real good. I also agree on the not using of the fisheye my buddy does alot of skate and snow filming out in denver and thinks the same about the the fisheye. Big props for repping Milwaukee. I also see you go to uwm, I attend there too crazy. Well I sent the link to my buddy hell be stoked to see milwaukee holding it down.

Nice video trav_2483! I agree, it's VERY fresh without the fisheye lens, that's way played out!

Without the fisheye lens it has a more of a chilled & natural feel to it, meaning the far shots make it look more documentary like, & less set-up for the camera.

The skaters were AWESOME, very talented too!

Keep up the good work!

I appreciate the possitive feedback. I am also glad to see that there are people that feel where I am coming from on the subject of the fisheye lens. Sometimes when filming a rolling line, or in certain specific environments, a fisheye may be necessary, but it just needs to be done way more seldom.

Dwood: I went to uwm, I graduated in May from the film program. How did you know I went there? You should send me some links to some of the stuff your friend in Denver has done.
