i watched it! good stuff man! is this your first try or do you have others?

i'm not much on the technical side, the other guys on here know a lot better than i do -- but from a writer's standpoint I think you've got a decent start.

i wanna say, there's a beginning and a middle but no end? that open ending would be interesting, but i feel like he needs to deal with those messages on his phone, or at least put up an effort to do something? instead of just coming back to his desk again.

yeah man, the acting was pretty good! could be a lot worse. he has a good face. keep that Shhh up! you've got some skills.
(i wish i could take a 16mm class)

Thanks for the positive responce. This was the second "official" film for the class...

{SPOILER}
I guess the ending is too open ended for some: we see him dump out the coffee into the sink when Greg (his boss) sees him. Scotty trys to run but is locked in. Next thing we see is Scotty back at work. The intention was that Scotty had something (brainwashing, labotomy?) happen to him to get him to stay there.

As for the 16mm class; go to your local junior college and take one there. The class should be cheap, and you will just be responsible for film costs. This might seem pricey but you save Tons of money on equipment.

Some interesting angles and light cues. The lead was just right for this middle of the road kind of character. Niece piece overall.
