DVX Short Film (school project) - Guitar Player

I've been a long time lurker on this board, but have never really posted anything.
I wanted to share a short film I made about a year and a half ago for a school project.

Shot with a stock DVX. Our teacher told us we could "steal" any music or footage we wanted to tell the story. We were supposed to "get inside" a character's head.

Comments/criticism appreciated!

The lighting is well done. Good to see that being focused on. It does everything for the video. Nice theme. The vocals were a bit dry, but I'm not complaining. Keep it up.

I thought the tighter images were great ( I shoot stills for a custom guitar mfg,) and as mentioned before, the lighting was excellent. I wasn't as much of a fan of the wider shots but I can understand the reason to need them.

I also wanted to hear guitar music playing (however in retrospect, I wonder how it would have worked with what he was actually playing?)

The story was great as was the use of the archival footage, I could almost feel the rock star.

(On a side note - I started watching your doc on beer and I felt like something you'd see on the history channel - again, the use of the archival stuff was great.)
