There was a chick running after the van, on the first viewing I caught what LOOKED like a DVX in somebodies hand, facing the ground, running behind her.

Did i get it??

I saw three DVXs being used onstage during the Vans Warped Tour 10th Anniversary show.  The stuff they were getting didn't look that great - perhaps they were in 60i?

It also occurred to me that they might have been live switching these cameras, because I saw more than one cable coming off the tape side of the unit - composite out?! It could be that I was having a flashback, and that they were two XLR inputs from the monitor mix position. More likely scenario I suppose!

Anyone else see this footage on Fuse?

I saw the lenshood it's the only one that has those open spaces

 I saw the new megadeth vid "die dead enough" and it screams xl1s, like, the one that u see online looks 24fps, but when I saw it on the headbangers ball it looked 60i totally unprofessional, same with slayer "still reign'"  just regular interlaced VIDEO, just like watching the news,

ive seen the video on mtv and saw the 100a in one of the shots where they are riding in the back of the flat bed trailor. ive also seen it used at footballgames.

I watched the clip several times.
I noticed Jimmy Hoffa shooting with a DVX, and Elvis doing sound.
Or were there two shooters.
Just caught a flash of what may be second shooter.
Looked like JFK!
I'm going with the two shooters theory.
Is that what we're looking for?
But I didn't see any babies.

The director was most likely Wim Wenders. Wim's into the DVX big-time, esp. since he just shot his latest feature with it.

More and more videos are moving towards 24p, whether it be in HD or prosumer SD... from the Varicam to the SDX to the DVX, the look and feel is so fantastic, that it's making it a no brainer for budgetary reasons...

If you're not going to 35 (which is the case for music videos most of the time), then why not shoot on the DVX. Run the stuff through an 8.8.8. and color correct to that higher plane.

Anyhow, I love Wim Wenders. I hope his new project comes out in theaters here in the US of A.

Fairuza Balk is in it too btw... and I love that gal.

An oozing POX on Yahoo for only supporting Internet Explorer! I use Mozilla or Firefox for just about all my websurfing needs, and they work just fine with just about any web site out there.

Ok, i went to the trouble (and virus risk) of seeing this thread through IE, and my first impression is that U2 hasn't done anything new in quite a while. Their approach with this video is pretty much the same as their first 'breakthrough' video where they put on a public concert and the cops made half-hearted attempts to shut them down, presumably because they didn't have a permit.

This time, its police escort, not harassment.
