So many new toys. Still learning how to use them.

M2 + Nikkor 50mm 1.2 (should work now :undecided )

Cine Dolly + Bad PVC track

The M2 test has no CC but is flipped. The dolly test has way too much MB. Up next is coordinating the M2 and a steadicam while focusing.

We are shooting a music video this month and will be testing out the M2.

peace.

the M2 page crashes my firefox, the dolly clip is good though, not sure why it moves in at first unfocused.

Everytime I try to encode H264 it never works. I made it Sor3, it should be fine.

I didn't have the time to pull focus on the first dolly move. I just focused for the end of the move.

Check-IT!

matt, the m2 looks great. how the footage hold up full rez? Its on the top of my wish list.

I love that last push dolly in the end; very fast ala Peter Jackson. Now all you need is that Follow Focus!

Camera reflection! lol

But really, it's really nice footage, did you buy your m2 or build it?

We shot this with a 15" color production monitor and best believe it looked amazing on it. When we shoot the video and actually light I can post some fullrez stills.

This is a production version of the M2 .. I bought it. I almost bought a Cavision follow focus but I'm loyally waiting for the redrock micro FF. Then I have to gear all of my lenses :undecided

Yeah camera reflection cameo. What can ya do?

We are also shooting a short and have some interesting dolly shots. I'll post them when we finish shooting.

teh peace.

that does look nice... thats what I have been wanting to see...what a standard 50mm lens can do...

I will have plent of time to play with this stuff in Kosovo.

Great stuff thanks! M2 an adaptor or somthing (sorry don't know the term). By the way Mat your in Boston ...Huh? Hit me up sometime when you get a chance, we should talk. PM Me

Man, that's some pretty clean looking M2 footage. Probably the best I've seen, yet. Nice dolly shots as well. Keep the samples comin'.

Ok I see...I knew about the adaptor, wasn't aware that they came out with version two. I really didn't like a lot of the original footage shot on "m1" cause lots of it seemed oversaturated. Maybe that's the look they were going for, but this footage is nice becuase it sharp and the contrast with brightness seems more balanced.
