Hello, does anyone know of a movie that can be rented in video stores that used the dvx? I saw "the incident at loch ness" which was good and was wondering if there was another. Thanks

try this link to an interesting independent film company and click on the "Films" tab: http://www.indigent.net/
many of their films are shot on dvx and include stars such as Courtney Cox, Steve Buschemi, and Katie Holmes. Not sure that you'll find all the titles in the video store just yet as some are awaiting their theatrical release.

"The Snow Walker" directed by Charles Martin Smith was filmed with the DVX. it's a solid movie shot in nightmarish conditions in the middle of absolutely nowhere and it really shows what the camera can do.

Are you sure?

That doesn't look like a DVX to me!!

The movie DOES look really good though.

EDIT: I found this article http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/archive/index.php/t-7226.html and it says the DVX100A was used to shoot the *Documentary* of the making of the film.....But not the Film itself. It was shot on Film Cameras.

K STREET. You'll find it in the Tv shows section of Blockbuster. Show is **** though. Extreme documentary style, all hanheld, 32k preset all the time(i think), practical lighting. sodenburgh and clooney produced it, only lasted one season. Weird concept having actors and real people mix in US Politics.

The big one is "November"(check the articles section for interview with DP). It's going to theaters sometime this summer, but in very limited release, which should prompty get it to video by the end of summer earlt September.

if you follow a couple links here and there youll find that there was a documentary filmed about the movie snow walker ( the documentary was shot with the dvx) a few articles talk of how well it held up for that...... Snow Walker is 35mm
