First, is there a way for users to change the theme/template colors on the forum?
Reversed color text is much harder to read. This forum has grown so much over the years, I find myself reading a lot on here, and props to Mr. Land and everyone else responsible for keeping such a wealth of information available, but this light on dark thing just kills the amount of time I can spend here.
I'm active on other active forums, and have uber support for this type of communication between people, sharing ideas and spreading good information, but the colors on this forum cause an eye strain (more for others, less for some).... I think lighter text on dark backgrounds is ok for some art type of sites, with less text to read, but DVX user should put up a poll to consider changing this. The majority of books aren't printed with a negative text for a reason, it's just too hard on the eyes.
Change that grey post box to a hexi CCCCCC, use that dark blue on the edges of this site for the font and your hits will go up.
thx
