DVX footage, like this camera

I really thought your footage was beautiful... Very soft, but still crisp.
The score really worked with the slow pans and steady shots. well done
Any CC added in post?
 
Thanks. Cool that you like that. Yes there is a touch of yellow and higher contrast. Otherwise, its just the camera.
 
Gosh that looked good. If you don't mind me asking what were you settings on that? It had a nice filmic look to it.
 
Finally test footage that isnt someone's little sister, or their boring backyard. This is the first test footage I have ever seen that is worth watching. The only suggestion I would have is invest is a better tripod.

Setting are 25p and shutter speed to 120.
After experimenting different settings, found that got the best results when using shutter speed in progressive mode. The more shutter speed the better. I prefer 120 or at least 60. With shutterspeed off footage will be jumping and not that crispy.

You say normal mode. Does that mean letterbox or does it mean you used the anamorphic adapter?

But you're gona lose those pixels anyway, and by using squeeze mode the compression is more effective - or am I wrong?
