dvx error - cyclinder lock - auto off???

what does this mean?

i was recording with the dvx on the crane in my living room slow movement, nothing freaky and this came up.

shut off camera, turned it back on a few minutes later and all seems fine.

should i be worried??

i checked a few days ago and i have 164 hours on it.

Sometimes if the angle is just right, the upperhead will seperate off the lower head. It's very possible that this is what happened. You can tell if you open the handle where you put the tape in and look at the cylindrical shiny peice in the center. If there is a considerable space in the middle, then that is your problem. A good place to have it evauluated it Specialized Communications.

i have a great panasonic repair place within driving distance.

lucky it hasn't happened since.

i think it was just some weird angle from me playing with the jib.
