DVX DVD question

Still awaiting the arrival of my new DVX100A and am trying to get a leg up on working with 24p footage. I just got the DVX Book and DVD which is a great resource for tips on camera operation.

In one of the DVD examples on achieving film look, 24p sample footage is shown before editing and then after "a little manipulation in post". What are some of the tweaks that were used?

I don't remember the exact settings, but mainly I added a little grain and balanced the color so it matched. It was literally five minutes' work; I'm sure a post whiz like Matt McDermitt could make the footage look even more filmlike!
