DVX dominating the airwaves

yep the DVX was used on Fox's "American top 40 w/ Ryan Seacrest" on the field and in the studio on the Usher interview there was a shot of a DVX with Usher and Ryan on the LCD with volume meters, u could see the scene file dial on F5

the DVX has also been used on ABC's Primetime and 20/20 on 24p

also seen on Comedy Central's CON

I spotted the DVX in BLADE: Trinity moive/DVD. A vampire taping BLADE unknowingly killing a human.
 
American Chopper is done with the Varicam. ;-) See how the gamma curves look similar.

Don't know the others. Anybody else?

I've seen a DVX in an Ebay commercial and on an Animal Planet show where the contestants were handed the cams to shoot their own footage.

The nice thing about this video is that on some shots you can see the cameras setup around that stage (the DJ shots in particular)
 
The Bravo limited series "Forty Deuce" was shot with DVXs and the Varicam. They used DVXs for the vast majority of the show (the "verite" stuff) and the Varicam for stylized dance numbers. I liked the look of the show, but quickly got tired of a constant dutch angle on all the "verite" stuff. I found myself craining my neck to compensate...
 
I bought my first DVX from abel cinetech, still have it and I have shot two news packages that aired on local San Diego news as well the Jerry Lewis MDA telethon, the 24 frame look is just awsome and many of my co-workers and other local news photogs commented on how slick the video looked. I was lucky enough to have my station submit one of these packages for Emmy consideration. I'll find out next week if it gets nominated. There are so many more things you can do with a smaller camera and 24p, than with a betacam or full size dvcpro.

DVX on TV

Can anyone confirm what Project Greenlight is using to shoot the TV part? I saw the last episode the other night and it was 24p. Just assuming it's a DVX. ?
 
From what I saw on PGL, they shot it with a shoulder mount cam. What was "Feast" shot with, I never got a good look at it.
