Documentary that i did... Its a behind the scenes story about CRAZY8's. I only had eight days to start and complete, follow 5 teams around town, all free style shooting, no script, all the other teams had crews of up to like 30 people. My film was a one man show :-/! Had 10 hr of footage and also had to edit it all at the same time. This was the hardest thing i have done soo far. I was under the GUN like the other teams and was filming and editing till that last day before the screening. The CRAZY8s producers didnt know if it would be possible to complete. However, i finished it 2 hours before the screening. LOL "OUch! that was close"

Soooo for the amount of time that i had its good enough...

Re: crazy8s documentary

A little over 4 minutes to download. I loved it -- loved the tight shots and cutaways, especially the guy pitching who couldn't find words -- the cutaways to the clock and reaction shots to his fumbling were great. The music worked well. I'm nuts about docs, and really enjoyed this one -- congrats! Patricia

LOL

Yes. The dude that was saying "uuuh, uuuh, uuuhh" was classic. I worked in pre-production on a film once where this is exactly what the meetings were like.

LOL

When can we see it?

Re: DVX documentary (crazy8s)

Very cool. Some details about the contest's rules at the beginning would make this more accessible for outsiders. I loved the pitch segment.

Re: DVX documentary (crazy8s)

I would of loved to add more stuff to it... but it wasnt allowed to be no longer than 9 mins! I was under the same rules like the other teams. HOwever, did get a time extension on it cause i was do evrything... :-/

Re: DVX documentary (crazy8s)

I'm getting under 30kB/s, which makes it a download time of about 55 mins! Maybe temp high loads or a very bad route, I don't know. I will try again later though.
