30p is 30 frames per second, which is standard for all video. It is also progressive, which means every frame is a complete frame.

60i is just the same, but the frames are interlaced, meaning each individal frame is actually of 2.. I think. Something like that.

24p is 24 frames a second, and progressive. 24p will give you the film look, because that's the framrate in which all film is shot.
