DVX Book included?

Hi guys, i'm a newbie here. just got my dvx100b from newegg. i'm pretty excited about it. my only concern is the dvx book by barry green and the magic bullet software. i received a paper from panasonic instructing me to go online and register to get the book and software. is that how they process it? or did you receive the book itself included in the package? are they going to honor the form from newegg? They said to go to www.dvxbookmagicbullet.com. any thoughts? thanks guys.

This is correct. You will get the DVX Book/DVD, Magic Bullet 2.x, and InstantHD. You should get them within a year or two.

that's how long it took for my rebate but the actual book and dvd arrived in only half a year.

thanks for the reply guys. that long? but i think it's worth the wait. by the way, do i have to cut through the box in getting the serial number? they said to mail the UPC code with the serial number or i just have to peel the sticker off? thanks again.

If you can peel it off cleanly from the box, that should be fine otherwise you will need to cut it off of the box. Be sure to use the form provided under the DVX-100B page (free software link) at http://catalog2.panasonic.com/webap...d=94944&catGroupId=14571&surfModel=AG-DVX100B
