Okay . About a month and a half ago , I had tripped my power cord to my camera to end up launching the camera off my pc tower to the floor (about 2 feet drop with an attempt to stop it from falling) . So the camera stopped powering up.

Well the camera turns back on again now , and displays, used it at a football game yesterday just hooked up to a switcher. I had left the camera in my car in it's panasonic case made for the dvx , which is a metal case ... so it was pretty hot ... so i'm not sure exactly why this would "fix" the DVX ... and now my new problem is that the tape portion of the camera doesn't record or playback .

Would this hopefully just be a dirty heads problem since I had a tape stuck in the camera for this entire time? Just thought I'd mention this ... I don't recommend leaving your camera in a hot car in its case because thats death obviously to electronics but in my case it fixed one problem . . . >_<

well supposely the circuit board something is wrong . i'm just sure the guy who looked at it doesn't know how to fix it . so i'm gonna have to have a guy in another town look at it since he does service to them all the time.
