I just wanted to pass on some info I found out last month.
I was talking with one of the producers of the Miss America Pagent and we were discussing cameras and the DVX came up and he mentioned that they used multiple DVX-100 cameras on the last national broadcast of the pagent. He said that everybody was extremely impressed with the camera. He also mentioned that from what they were able to tell the cameras performed up against the $90,000 DigiBeta cams that they would have rented previously.
That was really neat for me to hear and I thought that would help give any credibility to any of those needing an example of broadcast use.
I also know that one of the news stations in Tucson, AZ has purchased 3-4 DVX100A cameras for their location broadcasts.
I can't wait to see some HD version from Panasonic.
