dvx and hvx

i own a dvx. i love it. some people have the hvx but dont use the p2 they just shoot sd. is the sd quality the same for the dvx and the hvx. just a thought

The HVX has native 16:9 CCD's, so its 16:9 SD is better than SQUEEZE on the DVX.

if shooting DVCpro 50, yes. regular dv is probably the same.

Probably a stupid question but can you shoot DVCPro 50 on tape with the HVX?

No.

The DVX does better SD 60i than the HVX, too.
