DVX and FCP problem

My buddy is using a DVX as a deck coming out of a Mac using FCP.

When outputting his project to the camera, he's getting audio, but the image is frozen, even thought it it's playing perfectly from FCP. He played back the tape, and it's being recorded to tape with the frozen image.

Is this a DVX or FCP issue? I am assuming the problem is coming from FCP.

Any tips would be appreciated.
 
I tried the same thing. I had huge issues, the same frozen image happened, and I am not sure why but I think it is because I shot 24pa. I dunno, just burn a dvd. ahhahahahhaah. If you find out hook it up.
