DVX Accessories...

This topic has probably already been beaten to death but to hell with it..

I just got my DVX100a and am ready and willing to upgrade the crap out of it. I was wondering if the dvx gurus could give me some insight into what the best "modifications and accessories" are best for the DVX. I already have a nice little polarizer and next on my list is a tripod, I'd LOVE a 35mm...

So post up some great additions to this camera, and what makes them great.

A great shotgun Microphone with a "dead cat" type windscreen.
A tripod for sure.
Headers.
Louder exhaust pipes.
Tons of chrome!

Wait...what were we talking about again?
 
I would say a UV filter, a good shotgun mic, a tripod if you don't have one already, maybe a bigger monitor, a zoom controller, maybe even a matte box and some filters.
 
i'd say get ur accesories based on the most frequent thing ur shooting...if ur doing mainly music videos no need for a shotgun mic...ect

But some things are staples ...good tripod...uv filter...lens cleaning kit....good protective bag...extra batteries
