Hey i know there is probably many topics like this one but i searched and couldn't find to much. I'm looking for a small and pretty cheap 35mm adapter for my dvx100b. Any one have any in mind? Any help is appreciated thanks.

well I'm pretty sure just about any 35mm adapter will work with your dvx, you'll just need step down or step up rings.

small and cheap... well you would probably be looking at a static adapter then
such as the one I have from Twoneil
http://hv20.com/showthread.php?t=2825

for that one, you would need an achromat and a step down ring.

im sure there are lots of others out there that are relatively cheap, but they wont be anything like the M2 from redrock micro, or the adapters from letus and such

You sure that would work with the DVX? might need more/less distance to the focusing screen? How much does the unit weight?

You could be right, I'm not 100% sure if it would work. I assume it might if you had an achromat. but i could be wrong

i'm not sure on the exact weight of mine but its about the wieght of 1 light skateboard shoe if that helps

I emailed the guy, this was his reply:

Unfortunately, the adapter will not work on bigger cameras with a thread size over than 43mm.
It will only work on the HV20 or HV30.

Guess it wont work.

dude, you'd just need a step-up ring to an achromat and it would work with a bigger camera. My own DIY is built along the same lines. I added a few spacer rings to gain distance from the lens and got a 55mm-60mm step up ring directly from the back of the macro adapter.

Anybody want to confirm this?
