DVX 100B Zoom Concern??

I've recently noticed that when I zoom out on the DVX 100B, the frame shifts a bit. If I am on full telephoto, and creep the zoom out (not the handle zoom) the picture shifts as the zoom begins. Tryed it on full wide zooming in and it seemed better. It's like the zoom gear is "catching the other gear" Anybody else notice this???
Thanks,
Mike

Yes, this has been discussed before. It is as you think. The servo reverses and doesn't immediately hit the other gear. So, if you are trying to get a certain shot, you may want to do slight zoom back in the direction you want, so the gear catches, and then execute your real zoom.

Thank you! I thought I had BANGED the camera on something. If this is normal for the DVX, I can live with it. I love this camera.
Anybody else?
