DVX 100b for new series.

We're shooting a new 28 episode web mini-drama called "The Dirty Bomb Diaries" exclusively with the DVX100b. Everything is shot 24p. You can have a look at episode 1 here:

The overall image quality gets softened once it's compressed online, but I think it's still a testimony to what a great camera the 100 really is.

Actually the text I did in Final Cut Pro with basic titles and then I used a filter called Overdrive. By keyframing and modulating the filter I got the effect. I was originally thinking about doing something in AE, but this happened to work out well.

The warm and slight fuzz comes from using Magic Bullet looksuite white diffusion and pulling it way back. We used this mainly for the first day before the bomb goes off. Thereafter things are going to start looking much harder and less warm.

Youtube is probably the best bet. We'll be posting a new episode roughly every 3 days, 4 max. So at least 2 episodes a week, probably 3. I just posted ep 2 this morning. Here are the links. We're also getting the website in order and it will have all the links, etc.

The DVX is a great camera. The only thing I'd love to have is some sort of lens adapter for a 35mm shallow DOF. I don't know if you can rent those or not.
